The world economy is currently in trouble. Some churches and denominations begin to face consequences such as reduced budgets, donation decreases, and cutbacks on staff. Sometimes, however, cutbacks are misguided and even counterproductive. I recently run into a little story that seems quite applicable to many church situations.

NCD is a fairly new ministry in India that started only 3 years ago. In November 2006, Christoph Schalk visited the northern part of the country to train pastors in Chandigarh and to discuss the strategic use of NCD with denominational leaders in New Delhi.
